Microsoft Office 2019, available since 2018, has replaced the previous version of Office 2016. Office Pro Plus is a volume licensing edition and is a great cloud replacement solution. The package is suitable for larger companies and organizations. Compared to the previous version of MS Office 2016, the functional innovations are negligible. The main difference is compatibility only with Windows 10 and Windows 11. As with the 2016 version, the support period remains until 2025. Office 2019 Pro Plus can be purchased as a secondary license, with significant savings over the latest version.

The software license MS Standard 2019, as well as Pro Plus is available exclusively as a volume license. The package is suitable for commercial customers and large organizations. In addition to the basic applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Office Standard 2019 also includes Outlook and Publisher. Support ends the same as in Office Standard 2016 in 2025. Office 2019 licenses can be purchased from the free market and thus save a significant part of the cost of software licenses compared to the newer version.

Compared to version 2019, it is also compatible with older operating systems, specifically Windows 7 and Windows 8. The Office 2016 secondary license with the same support period as Office 2019 is the cheapest option for purchasing the Microsoft Office Pro Plus office suite. When purchasing free market licenses, it is still possible to purchase Office 2016 ProPlus and save a substantial part of the cost.

Retail or FPPs are licenses intended for consumers and small businesses that do not require advanced management and other benefits of volume licensing. Each license usually contains a unique activation key and possibly. various certificates (CoA). This is not a good solution for free market licenses, as meeting all the conditions for a transfer is difficult to document (eg a complete chain of owners is absent).
Volume licenses (MVL)
