Task and goal

Legal software solution

An important condition for Znojmo was the supply of a legal software solution as part of a public procurement procedure for the renewal of the existing IT infrastructure.

The goal of the project was to switch to a manufacturer-supported version of the operating system. Due to the increasing costs of software products and security risks, Znojmo City Council intended to upgrade and unify its operating systems to the Windows 10 Pro.

Solution

Downgrade right exercised

Against the requirements, we have provided a higher edition, ie Windows 10 Enterprise, with right to downgrade to requested edition, at an unbeatable price. The offered solution ensures better license mobility, simpler management and installation/activation of the required products compared to the originally requested retail version.

The delivery included documentation of the complete chain of previous owners, which is required for a legal purchase of licensesfrom the free market. All necessary documents, including the chain of previous license holders, required for the software audit are available to the City of Znojmo on the online distribution platform SWTP within their account.
